Working to Make a Difference

Build Aid selected as 2020 Charity Partner

For 2020 we have partnered with Build Aid to work on a vital shelter project on the island of Cebu. We are constructing a small ‘cottage’ to serve as a safe haven for girls rescued from child sex abuse. This vital children’s shelter provides permanent refuge homes and professional trauma-informed care for female victims of online child sex abuse.

2019 Charity Challenge in support of Street Child

Throughout 2019 we raised £27,700 to build a school in Sierra Leone with our charity partner, Street Child. Street Child work in some of the toughest areas, believing that achieving universal basic education is the single greatest step that can be taken towards the elimination of global poverty and we couldn’t agree more.

Promoting and supporting a caring approach from all our people

All our employees are given one charity day a year. This time can be used to carry out internal fundraising, sporting events or personal challenges. In 2020 we are also working alongside small local organisations to carry out volunteering activities and support the communities that we serve.

Concern for the environment is integral to our operations and management activities

We have offset our carbon emissions by supporting VCS certified clean energy projects around the world. This helps to combat climate change and sustain our environment for future generations.

Reducing Plastic Waste

We are committed to removing single-use plastics, reducing our reliance on plastic products, and positively influencing the personal choices of our employees. We have now introduced Warwick water bottles company wide and throughout 2020 we are setting out to further reduce our plastic usage with lots of exciting initiatives.

As a responsible business we are committed to better controlling our impact on the environment through more sustainable operations. Starting with using recycled toilet paper from whogivesacrap.org, we are re-evaluating all our office suppliers, as well as implementing effective strategies to conserve energy and reduce waste.

Paperless Initiative

Paperless Initiative

In 2017 we introduced a paperless initiative and have been working since then to reduce our paper usage across the business. We employ an electronic filing only policy and have advanced our bespoke system to ensure that there is a smooth trail of information without the need for physical files.
