Coronavirus has impacted many towns, communities and businesses in the UK and around the world. The team at Warwick Estates is continuing to monitor the situation and, most importantly, protecting the safety of our staff, customers, suppliers and our communities at large.
As a business, we are making decisions and acting quickly as we gain new facts. We are following the Governments Advice regarding self-isolation, hygiene and social distancing.
This is an unprecedented and ever-changing time, and we want to reassure you of several measures we have already implemented, and to update you on our policies in other areas.
Our Teams
All office-based staff have been provided with the facilities and equipment to work from home. Staff who undertake essential roles pertaining to the safety and security of our buildings remain in situ, likewise with any on site staff including cleaners, concierge and security guards.
We respectfully request that all residents avoid physical contact with our staff and ensure that the advised two-metre distance between individuals is observed at all times.
Our Service
You should not experience any notable change in our service, save for the postponement of face-to-face meetings.
We are fully maintaining our live chat function for our customers to contact us instantly including our call back service should our customers want to speak to us.
Our extended opening hours remain unaffected and our emergency out of ours service remain unaffected.
Please make sure you update us with your email address and contact details via the customer login on our website https://login.warwickestates.net/ as this is the most efficient way for us to keep you up to date with matters affecting your property.
Repairs and General Maintenance
Essential works will continue to be undertaken. We are aware that coronavirus may delay our ability to perform more routine repairs and maintenance tasks if our contractors are affected. We are liaising closely with contractors and suppliers to review their emergency plans to ensure that this is as limited as possible. If you are affected, your property manager will notify you.
Resident Safety
As we are required to stay at home, please ensure that you are familiar with the fire policy for your building. If you are unsure, please contact your property manager.
Where possible, please try and limit the time you spend in the communal areas. To prevent spread in the event of a fire all communal fire doors should be kept closed at all times, unless they are on an automatic door closing system.
All communal corridors and means of escape must always be kept free and clear of personal items. This includes (but is not limited to) doormats, shoes, prams and household waste.
Please ensure that anyone living with you is familiar with the fire policy to the building and the location of the emergency exits.
We continue with our best efforts to prevent service interruption for our customers, and we hope that whether you’re social distancing, in self-isolation, or are unfortunately unwell that you keep in touch and continue to communicate any concerns to us.
This policy is under constant review by the Management Team of Warwick Estates and will be updated as advice evolves.
